Tiff and Mar’s Machias Meadows wedding brought together towering evergreens, local flowers, disco balls, Jewish traditions, and one incredible community for a celebration tucked into the trees in Snohomish. From an emotional ceremony surrounded by family to dinner beneath the trees and a wildly joyful night inside the barn, every part of their wedding felt unmistakably theirs.
Tiff & Mar’s wedding day at Machias Meadows felt like stepping into a world that was entirely their own: classy, wonky, wildly warm, and overflowing with love. Surrounded by towering trees, disco balls, sunflowers, lavender, and every kind of beautiful human connection imaginable, the entire day felt less like a traditional wedding and more like a gathering of community, joy, and chosen family.
A Wedding at Machias Meadows in Snohomish
Machias Meadows gave Tiff and Mar the best of both worlds: a celebration surrounded by Pacific Northwest greenery with a warm, intimate barn waiting for the party later that night. The towering trees and outdoor spaces made everything feel tucked away from the world, while still leaving plenty of room for a celebration filled with music, movement, and personality.
Weddings like this are exactly why I love filming celebrations throughout Snohomish County and the Pacific Northwest: beautiful scenery is great, but the people, traditions, and weird little details are what actually make a wedding unforgettable.
From the very beginning of the day, there was an energy in the air that felt deeply intentional. Guests were welcomed not just into a venue, but into Tiff and Mar’s world — one built on authenticity, music, humor, inclusivity, and decades of love. Harp music floated through the ceremony space as family members from every chapter of their lives gathered together, many meeting for the very first time. Moms walked Tiff and Mar down the aisle, surrounded by emotion, laughter, and a community ready to celebrate them exactly as they are.
The day was filled with the kinds of moments that can’t be staged: guests reconnecting during cocktail hour, spontaneous hugs and tears, heartfelt speeches, the intimacy of the ketubah signing, and quiet little glances exchanged between two people who have built a life together over decades. Every detail reflected who they are — from local flowers and disco balls to the warmth of the dinner under the trees and the packed dance floor inside the barn later that night.
If you’re dreaming about another celebration surrounded by towering trees, Arleen & Taylor’s Woodland Gardens wedding on Vashon Island had a completely different feel, with candlelit outdoor tables, golden light, and a whimsical dinner tucked beneath the evergreens.
The Hora, the Barn, and One Wild Dance Floor
And then came the party. The hora, the music, the absolute joyful chaos of everyone dancing together under the lights — it all felt electric. Tiff and Mar created a space where every guest felt invited to show up fully as themselves. The result was a wedding day that felt honest, nostalgic, emotional, hilarious, and deeply alive all at once. Cheers to Tiff & Mar and many more magical years to come!
