Casper and Cecíl’s Camano Island elopement was a quiet, wildly personal celebration built completely around who they are. From handmade cloaks and a cabin tucked into the trees to vows beside a fire overlooking the water, their winter elopement was proof that a wedding doesn’t have to be big to feel absolutely epic.
Casper and Cecíl’s elopement on Camano Island was pure magic. Cold air, warm hearts, and a love that burned brighter than the fire at their feet.
A Winter Elopement on Camano Island
The day began slow and tender. Wrapped in handmade pajamas, they sipped coffee and read books together in a little cabin tucked away in the trees—a quiet morning built just for them. Later, they donned beautiful cloaks they crafted themselves, each stitch a labor of love. They didn’t stop there—they made one for every person who joined them, wrapping their community in the same warmth that defines their relationship.
Camano Island was the perfect setting for a day this intimate. Instead of moving between traditional wedding venues, Casper and Cecíl spent the day surrounded by forest, water, family, and the little rituals that actually mattered to them. It felt less like following a wedding timeline and more like stepping into their world for a day.
The ceremony took place on a cliff overlooking the island and sea, with a small fire flickering as they exchanged vows. The wind carried their laughter across the water, and even in the chill of the day, you could feel how joyful, soft, and deeply connected these two are.
Afterward, they ran along the beach, basking in that just-married glow, before joining family for a cozy dinner. The night ended back at the family home. Wine, cuddles, the glow of the Christmas tree, and the quiet magic of the winter solstice.
For a completely different kind of intimate Washington celebration, check out Melanie & Lyndsay’s wedding at The Ruins in Seattle, where heartfelt moments gave way to drag performances, a packed dance floor, and a Capitol Hill afterparty.
Casper and Cecíl’s day was handcrafted in every sense. It was intimate, creative, and full of heart. Congrats to Casper and Cecíl and many more years of warmth together.
