Rebecca and Phil’s wedding was a celebration of roots, resilience, and romance, set in the lush, dreamy heart of New Orleans at the City Park Botanical Gardens – the very place where they shared countless dates, and where Phil proposed under the Louisiana sky.
After years of love, loss, and long-distance, these two returned home to the city that raised them to begin a brand-new chapter under a canopy of ancient oaks and swaying Spanish moss. Their ceremony was intimate and full of heart – a New Orleans fairy tale come to life, with Rebecca floating down the aisle like a forest princess in a shwoopy-sleeved gown and flower crown, and Phil steady and teary-eyed beneath a magical oak.
As the evening wore on, the air thickened, the skies opened, and a soft Southern rain turned their reception into a wet, wild, joy-soaked dance party – just the way New Orleans would have it. And then came the second line. With umbrellas handcrafted by their mothers, Rebecca and Phil marched through the gardens, love pouring into every step. It was a perfect ending to a night bursting with personal touches, laughter, and the spirit of two souls who were clearly meant to find each other.
Their wedding wasn’t just a party – it was a love song to New Orleans, and to the people who made them who they are. Cheers to Rebecca & Phil and many more years to come!
